Great breakfast and service

I am actually very good friends with Fern herself. Whenever I go there she always tries her best when she’s not busy to come and talk with me for a little while. Everything about this place is fantastic.

Ferns is your typical mom n pop breakfeast shop. Great to have meetings, meet local people, hang out eat a good home cooked style meal and enjoy life a bit.

Burgers and fries are awesome. Service good. Atmosphere meh

Great, friendly restaurant with some down home cooking, and convenient location. Tons of natural light make this space feel bigger than it is, and it's unique blue floor pays homage to bygone pharmacy days when this place housed the Kirkland Lake Pharmacy ( BDR).

Great local restaurant, food is served fast, servers are great people. Can get busy at times as there are few places to eat in town. Prices are fair and the portions are good.

It is difficult to review an average restaurant in a small town like KL, but overall the food was good and reasonably priced. the service was okey, even though our server was extremely busy and an extra hand could go a long way on a sunday morning! I'd go back there again and would also recommend it

Stopped here for breakfast while on a bike trip. Good food, large portions and excellent service. A great diner.

Fern opens up early for our last night shift and always put on a good breakfast . I recommend this to others to try and it's also easy on your wallet book.

didn't get to find out about the food, waited 20 minutes for service, then left. went to Crabbys, awesome food great service, and huge portions.

Server was slow and admitted to being sick with a cold. The bacon was paper thin and not hot. My hashbrowns had been fried into oblivion, My wife's fries were the same. Our friends grilled cheese looked sad was able to pull it apart without the cheese sticking to either piece. Just a purely underwhelming experience
